Renbin Woo

Founder of recognitas
Renbin is the founder of recognitas, a team of technologists, academics, and aid workers who seek to leverage data, research, and technology to empower humanitarians and development organisations. He has extensive strategy, research, and programming experience across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Alongside major donors such as USAID, DFID, and EU Trust Fund, he has led a wide spectrum of projects, from forecast-based financing, to child-centred programming in a variety of political, social, and economic contexts.
He read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford.
