Mujahid Aliyu Idris
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist
Mujahid Aliyu Idris is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist with experience in public health programming, evidence-based planning, and results measurement. Before joining Lafiya, he had worked with several development organisations, including Management Sciences for Health (MSH), UNICEF, and TAConnect, where he contributed to strengthening health systems across Nigeria.
Over the course of his career, Mujahid has led initiatives focused on data quality assurance, program performance monitoring, and evaluation of large-scale health interventions. His work has supported governments and partners in using data more effectively to inform decision-making, enhance accountability, and improve service delivery.
Mujahid holds a strong interest in translating evidence into action and building sustainable systems for learning and improvement, and He is particularly passionate about leveraging digital tools and information technology to enhance public health programs.
