Klau has graduated from the University of Oxford, reading Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. They have looked at developing regions from the economic perspective in their research with the Global Policy Insitute and the University of Piura in Peru. Their research on the feasibility of reducing global carbon emissions has been published in LSE Business Review.
Klau has extensive experience with consulting and development problems, having worked on impact assessment and digital transformation for a microfinance NGO in El Salvador and a financing strategy for a Nigerian microfinance bank for its international expansion. Klau conducted field research in Kaduna and Katsina states on different training models to develop a unique curriculum for the 2m+ beneficiaries of the Nigerian Environment Ministry's Renewable Energy Programme (RUWES).
Klau has been active in the private sector, working on consulting projects for Lufthansa Innovation Hub and key banks in Australia and the UK. They have specialised in procurement and supply chains while working at Ayming UK to support some of the Fortune 500 companies in the US and Europe. Klau has been also working with clients as a sales specialist for a renewable energy start-up in London.
Together with Céline, Klau has taken part in the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Programme, aimed at launching highly effective charities. Klau & Céline have been trained in leadership, strategic decision-making, fundraising, and more.
