Lafiya Nigeria’s 2023 Annual Impact Report

We are so excited to share with you our 2023 annual impact report, starting with a snapshot of our impact this year
2023 was a monumental year for Lafiya's growth. It was a year of many firsts: our first cross-state expansion to cover nearly all of Kebbi State's local government areas; our first program officers Fatima and Maryam who joined our team; our first media features by BBC News, The Commonwealth, and Vox; and our first growth catalytic funding from Charity Entrepreneurship/AIM, who saw Céline join our team as co-Executive Director.
With that said, we invite you to visit our progress in the past year in the full report below.
We achieved all this because it was a year that saw all our hard work over the past two years galvanized into the impact we made, through the 12,483 doses of contraception we distributed to more than 10,000 women in the rural north.
Though the journey ahead to resolving maternal mortality is long, we are unwavering in our mission to reduce maternal mortality through contraceptive access.
